Shaving Cream
What better way to kill two birds with one stone, than by shaving your legs with a moisturizer! Grab a good handful of natural coconut oil and rub it all over your legs. As you shave, the oil will lock in moisture leaving your legs silky smooth long after your shower.
Body Moisturizer
Don’t stop at just your legs. Use coconut oil anywhere on your body for smooth, soft skin all over. Apply it directly after the shower for best use.
Hair Mask
Use it alone overnight or mix it with other ingredients to increase your hair’s moisture intake. It can be mixed with honey to create a 20-minute recovery mask. Just heat up the honey and oil in a pot, let it cool, and then apply.
Makeup Remover
Stop paying ton of money for makeup remover! One of the best uses of coconut oil is as a makeup remover! Coconut oil will literally melt any makeup off your face. All you have to do is rub, rub, rub and the makeup is gone. Make sure you have a good facial cleanser to wash it off after.
Lip Balm
Having soft lips has never been easier. All you need is one tablespoon of coconut oil, one tablespoon of olive oil and three quarters of a teaspoon of honey. No heat necessary just mix it up and store in a small container. This creates a balm gentle enough for your lips, but super effective for moisturizing!
Mouthwash
Yeah, you read that right. Swishing coconut oil in your mouth for a few minutes a day can really improve the health of your mouth. It does things like reduce tooth decay, prevent gingivitis, combat bad breath, and fight sensitivity.
Body scrub
Have your skin glowing all summer long with this easy to make body scrub. Mix one tablespoon of coconut oil with two tablespoons of epsom salt, two drops of lavender oil, and one drop of peppermint oil. Use it in the shower and rub it in until the salt is gone. Use it anywhere on your body but your face, the salt is too abrasive and you might end up irritating your skin.
Highlighter
It is said that this oil can also be used as a highlighter. When you finish your face, lightly dab some on the areas you normally apply it. Use a very small amount and don’t rub it in or you’ll end up wiping off your hard work.
