5 Apps that Pay Money

Technology is so advanced these days. You can do just about anything with a smartphone, so why not make money too? We’ve shared apps that help you save money, but did you know there are apps that allow you to make money? If you are working out, going to the grocery store, or making regular purchases, certain apps can help you put more money back in your pocket. The CGS Team is sharing 5 awesome apps that help you boost your income.

Ibotta

Before you shop at popular stores like Publix, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, CVS, and more, browse the Ibotta app for offers to take advantage of. Then, head to the store to buy your products (make sure you keep the receipt). Redeem the offers from the app and take a photo of the receipt. Ibotta will match the items you bought to the offers you selected and give you cash. The cash is deposited into your Ibotta account within 48 hours and can be moved to your Venmo account instantly. The app is free and a great way to make money on things you would have spent money on anyways.

Achievement

If getting fit or staying healthy is high on your priority list, there are ways you can make money from it too! The Achievemint app lets you connect to other activity-monitoring and health apps you’re using, (think Fitbit, MapMyRun, and MyFitnessPal) Every 10,000 points you earn following through with goals equals $10 that you can convert into cash or put toward merchandise. The app has paid out over $500,000 so far, so get to tracking your workouts!

Final

Does the thought of using your credit card scare you? Nowadays, the identity theft threat is larger than ever. That’s where the Final app can come to your rescue. Final allows you to create virtual credit cards so there is never a breach of your own information. You have the option of locking a virtual card to a single merchant, creating cards for one-time use, or creating recurring cards for monthly subscriptions. The best part is that you get 1% back on all purchases with no annual fee!

Shopkick

Shopkick allows you to earn money from shopping anytime and anywhere. If you are shopping in-store, simply walk into the store, scan items, and buy everyday products to earn rewards. If you are shopping online, simply visit your online stores, view their products and make mobile purchase. Each reward (“kick”) you earn through purchases can be redeemed for gift cards to all kinds of stores like Starbucks, Target, Toys R Us, and more.

Pact

Pair the Pact app in conjunction with the Achievement app mentioned above and double your cash! Pact creates powerful incentives for you to get fit and stay healthy. You make a weekly “Pact” to exercise more or eat healthier, then you set what you’ll pay OTHER Pact members if you don’t follow through. When you meet your goals, you are paid by the Pact members who don’t. All incentives come in cash, and keep you motivated to stay consistent with your goals.

As more money-making apps come on the market, we will definitely keep you updated. For now, use the apps above to get money back for things you would already be doing! Do you use any of the apps listed above? Can you share any apps that help you make money? Post a comment below to share your recommendations and experiences.
