A woman’s purse is more than just a fashion accessory. Purses are an extension of a woman’s’ personality and the contents that are within can tell a lot about a woman. Whether you’re a working woman, a stay-at-home mom, or a student, there are certain things every woman needs in her purse.
Obviously, your bag can be filled with receipts and nonsense! That just means a little cleaning is in order! There are items that most women use regularly and I’m here to share with you what’s in ours. Check out these six things every woman needs in her purse.
#1 Wallet
A wallet is one of the most important items that every woman should have in her purse. Honestly, without any funds how do you expect to make it out in this jungle of a world?! Your wallet should be able to hold cash, credit/debit cards, identification, and other important documents.
Designers make matching wallets to pair perfectly with their bags for a reason! Or if you don’t care about your wallet being of the same design as your bag, just ensure when choosing a wallet, look for one that is both functional and fashionable. It should have plenty of card slots, a zippered coin pocket, and enough space for cash and other important documents.
#2 Phone
If you don’t carry your phone in your hand, it’s 9 out of 10 times in your purse. A phone is an essential item that every woman should carry with her. It’s not just for making calls or sending messages; it’s also a powerful tool that can be used for navigating, accessing the internet, and most importantly taking pictures and making memories.
In case of an emergency, a phone can be a lifeline for reaching out to family or emergency services. With your phone should also be a portable charger or charging cord – just in case you find yourself out and about with a low phone battery.
#3 Keys
Keys are another essential item that every woman should carry in her purse. Sounds silly, but keys are an essential item that should be in your bag for common reasons. Whether it’s for your home, car, or office, losing your keys can be frustrating and dangerous.
Using certain compartments in your purse can aid in keeping your keys close by and can help you avoid losing them. You can also opt for a keychain with a key finder device that can help you locate your keys if you’re constantly misplacing them. However, if you always put your keys in the same place, you should always know where they are!
#4 Tissues
Tissues are a must-have in every woman’s purse. I mean, come on, should I detail more on this one?! They can be used for a variety of purposes, such as wiping away tears, cleaning up spills, or blowing your nose. In addition, they can also be used as a makeshift handkerchief in case of an unexpected sneeze or cough. For the girlies who have seasonal allergies, I’m sure you can totally relate! You can also choose tissues that come in a stylish or fun design to add a little flair to your purse.
#5 Hand sanitizer
In this day and age, hand sanitizer has become an essential item in every woman’s purse due to the ongoing global pandemic. It’s important for maintaining good hygiene and preventing the spread of germs. Lip balm can also provide protection from the sun, wind, and cold weather. They are generally small and never take up much space. When choosing a lip balm, look for one that has natural ingredients, so you keep those lips protected!
