If you’re trying to kick a soda habit to the curb, sparkling waters may just be calling your name. There are so many different types to try!
The sparkling water industry has exploded over the past few years, and there are more new types to try all the time. As with any new product, some are clear winners.
City Girl Savings has come up with a list of 5 sparkling waters you simply have to try!
#1 Topo Chico
One of the best things about sparkling water is that it’s just as hydrating as regular water, and Topo Chico is no exception. Topo Chico is a sparkling mineral water that’s been bottled in Mexico since 1895!
Mineral water is amazing for improving heart health, and adding subtle but delicious favors make this sparkling water a winner. Our favorites include tossing in some strawberries, mint, citrus, or rosemary.
#2 San Pellegrino
Mineral water is not just good for your heart—it can also help you add minerals like magnesium, calcium, and zinc to your diet!
San Pellegrino is the closest sparkling water to juice or soda. Its fruit flavors are often ranked higher than juice, in fact! This sparkling water has a different taste from others, because the bubbles are smaller.
We recommend the blood orange flavor, because of the full-bodied taste it offers. It’s just like freshly squeezed oranges!
#3 LaCroix
Sparkling water is a better option than regular or diet soda, neither of which offers good hydration. LaCroix is a great substitute for those looking for a softer sparkle.
Another benefit of LaCroix is that the flavors aren’t as strong as some of the other options. This is ideal for people trying to move away from sugary drinks!
The tangerine LaCroix flavor provides a perfect citrus taste, balanced out by the frothy bubbles.
#4 Mountain Valley
Mountain Valley is created using naturally ionized water, and you can get this sparkling water in all sizes—up to a gallon!
Mountain Valley sparkling water comes in gorgeous green or clear glass bottles and is totally sodium-free. It’s bottled from a spring in the Ouachitas Mountains in Oklahoma.
#5 Perrier
Perrier is by far the bubbliest of the sparkling waters on our list, and offers a range of flavors and experiences. We recommend opting for the can or glass rather than a plastic bottle!
Perrier is a French brand, and their sparkling water is collected from a spring in Vergèze.
The lemon Perrier is our flavor of choice—the refreshing taste of lemon balances perfectly with the bubbly mineral water.
