We understand busy schedules and time getting the best of you, so we’ve come up with a list of four short-notice summer vacation destinations that won’t hurt your bank account. Nothing beats planning ahead, but at least you can still get to a few last-minute places (thanks to Google Flights) without worry.
Denver, Colorado
Art, live music, historical museums, gorgeous nature views, and great food all make up the variety of things to do in Denver. If you’ve never been, going the weekend of 8/20-8/22 will cost you as low as $172 round trip through Google Flights. Consider staying in the suburbs of Denver (think Littleton, Aurora, or Englewood) to get the best hotel deals.
Las Vegas, Nevada
If you have never been to Vegas, then don’t miss the opportunity to visit the “city that never sleeps” on 8/27-8/29 with round trip flights running as low as $143 through Google Flights. Summer is the perfect time to visit Las Vegas because the hotel pools (on the strip) are full of gorgeous people, amazing DJs, and never ending drinks. If you can find a good deal for a hotel on the strip, take it! If not, hotels off the strip will be the best money saver.
Dallas, Texas
Come on down to the great state of Texas on the weekend of 8/19-8/21 with round trip tickets as low as $165! You can even catch a Dallas Cowboys preseason game, against the Miami Dolphins that weekend. Don’t miss the opportunity to check out the amazing AT&T Stadium! Football not your thing? Dallas is full of gorgeous malls, historic and modern museums, tasty foods, and a vivid night life.
Chicago, Illinois
