The gorgeous Puerto Rican model Joan Smalls has been killin’ it on the runway for years. She was ranked at #8 in Forbes Magazine’s “World’s Highest Paid Models” in 2013!
She’s also been the face of Estée Lauder cosmetics, and appeared in top runway shows including Versace, Balenciaga, Dior, and Victoria’s Secret. Before modeling, Joan received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico.

Joan spotted wearing Balmain’s 2012 resort collection at the 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After Party. The plunging neckline and long sleeved mini dress compliment her figure flawlessly, without giving too much away.
Street Style
Joan looks sleek in a black, sheer long sleeve blouse with floral pants. Her black clutch and heels accent her outfit perfectly. With this outfit, the pants are definitely the statement piece! We love that her outfit can be pulled off for a casual outing or a dressier occasion.
All hail leather! Joan successfully combines casual and dressy pieces to create the perfect look. Her patterned sweater is paired perfectly over leather shorts. Her leather accented tote and wedges add a great finishing touch.
Joan rocked street style in Paris. Her floral Givenchy jacket looks stunning over her black crop top and dark jeans. A simple jewelry accent piece is joined perfectly with red lips and a multi-colored clutch.
